what we collect

The message text you type and your chosen situation and vibe are sent to our backend (a Cloudflare Worker) solely to generate reply suggestions. They are forwarded to OpenAI's API for processing and are not stored on our servers after a response is returned.

Your reply history, saved favorites, and free-usage count are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. Nothing in your history is transmitted to us or any third party.

When you subscribe, Apple handles all payment processing. TextWing receives only a token confirming your subscription status — we never see your payment details.

what stays on your device

All of the following live exclusively on your iPhone and are deleted when you uninstall the app:

• Reply history and favorited suggestions
• Free-generation usage counter
• App preferences and settings

no accounts, no tracking

TextWing does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not embed advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or crash reporters in the app. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or any device identifiers.

third-party services

OpenAI processes the text you submit in order to generate reply suggestions. Your use of TextWing means that text is also subject to OpenAI's usage policies (openai.com/policies). We do not share any additional information with OpenAI beyond what you type.

Apple provides the App Store, payment infrastructure, and optional Sign in with Apple — none of which are shared with TextWing beyond subscription status.

data security

All requests from the app to our Cloudflare Worker are made over HTTPS. Our Worker does not log or persist your messages. Local data on your device is protected by iOS's standard sandbox and data-at-rest encryption.

deleting your data

Because we don't store your data on our servers, there's nothing for us to delete on your behalf. To remove all locally stored data, simply uninstall TextWing from your device. iOS will erase all associated UserDefaults and cached files.

children's privacy

TextWing is a dating-context app intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via an in-app message. Continued use of TextWing after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
